German designer Adrian Riemann has spent the last few months illustrating 16 redesigns of famous ‘Masters of the Universe’ characters including both He-man and Skeletor. All superheroes and villians featured are immaculately dressed complete with American Apparel, H&M and Dior.
Riemann’s inspiration has stemmed from the indie fashion-scene and he has created the characters, envisioning them attending a cool funky photo shoot. Skeletor is kitted out in a hoody by Loopwheeler, jeans by Cheap Monday and shoes by YSL.
Riemann revealed on his portfolio on BehanceNetwork that: “I am a fashion-nerd myself, so I dressed them up in things that really exist and that I like”
The images were hand-drawn on A3, and when exhibited, they will be printed on fluorescent or glow in the dark paper.
Fashion superhero to save the world!!
