Play With Anna & Grace

To mark New York City’s Fashion’s Night Out, renowned department store Barney’s, has commissioned Andrew Yang to create dolls of our favourite ever Vogue editors. The Brooklyn based artist hand painted the rag dolls to replicate Anna Wintour & Grace Coddington. In true couture style of course!

“I had to special-order Anna’s wig and cut it myself to get the bob right. And Grace’s hair was the right color, but it needed a perm.” Yang also talks of how he created the dolls’ outfits, “The outfits are my own take on their signature looks, it would have been unfair to single out specific designers.”

They will be auctioned off from the 31st August from Charity Buzz, with proceeds aiding the New York City AIDS Fund.
