Day 2

On the ensemble: “This yellow Derek Lam short suit is one of my favorite new acquisitions for spring. I love that it is polished but still bold and fun. I typically like to layer most of my looks, which takes planning and coordination—but this you can just throw on as is. And the contrast of the nude Nina Ricci ankle-strap heels with the mustard yellow works perfectly.”

On the cuff and iphone: “I’m out of the office a lot scouting venues and on appointments with vendors, so I never put my phone in my bag—it’s always in my hand. The iPhone, along with my Cartier Love bracelet and mix of gold rings, are my perma-accessories. The Hermès cuff is a semi-perma-accessory—it’s with me about two to three times a week and adds a bit of toughness to any look.”

On the shoes: “You can never have too many nude heels—they elongate the leg and go with mostly everything. I particularly love this Nina Ricci pair. The color-block heel and ankle-strap are very mod.”
