On the ensemble: “These days you can almost always find me with a latte in front of the Met seating chart—positioning nearly 800 people isn’t easy! I’m in love with my new Derek Lam wide-leg jeans and cream silk blouse; it’s a nod to seventies casual-glam (a current fashion obsession of mine). Simple and chic—a land where Derek is king.”

On the pendants: “I literally just cut all of my hair off—ten inches to be exact. I’ve always had long hair and needed to let it go. So I did. Why didn’t anyone tell me having short hair is so much easier? My gold pendants are different lengths: One is by Me&Ro and has a sacred symbol, and the other is my sister’s, and has my nieces’ initials on it—they and my husband are the loves of my life! And a red lip is always a touch of fun for day or night—Chanel does it best.”

On the bangles: “My mother has always had the most beautiful gold bangles, and seeing them on her certainly left an impression on me. I’ve been collecting gold bangles since high school—you can never have too many, and in my opinion they never go out of style.”
