Burberry Brit Store Launch May 2011

Last night I enjoyed delicious canapés and refreshing beverages at the Burberry Brit launch in Covent Garden. Natasha Danson of House of Scarlet was my date and we had a blast introducing ourselves to some of the industries most inspiring.

The highlight of my evening was tapping Mr Bailey on the shoulder and introducing myself and he was a perfect gentlemen and extremely friendly. After posing for a pic together, Natasha and I made our way to the front of the store where we noticed the Burberry models standing for pictures. Cara Delevingne stood out and we quickly grabbed her for a quick chat and some pics. She is such a sweet girl and just as striking in person.

The store was merchandised to perfection and the atmosphere was buzzing with a live performance by Life In Film. Ellie Goulding was amongst the crowd and donned a fabulous studded Burberry leather jacket. (Unfortunately she wasn’t taking photographs, so I have to leave it to your imagination).

As you can imagine the store was filled with guests wearing Burberry, one jacket that stood out to me was from the Burberry Exotics collection worn by Zoe Jervoise of Jervoise Jackets.

For the launch I went with a very blue inspired outfit. A blouse from Topshop, white jeans from Topshop and blue platforms that are from a random high street store. The bag is Louis Vuitton and of course you can’t forget my fabulous glittery blue nails.

Natasha wore an All Saints dress, boots from Topshop a vintage lace shawl and a necklace from her current House of Scarlet collection.

Thanks to Burberry for inviting Five Five Fabulous along to a brilliant night! Congratulations on the new store, it’s definitely going to be frequently visited by the team.
