LFW: Richard Nicoll Spring Summer 2012

This morning set a story of laid back romance for me at the old Burberry Building at 19-22 Haymarket. The venue for the Richard Nicoll show was perfect with an atmosphere of elegance and history. I got a great spot standing and managed to finally get some close up snaps.

The collection began with a palette of blues, metallic and PVC layers. As it progressed we saw a soft approach with spaghetti straps and frill upon frill in soft shades of powder blues, baby pinks and mint greens. A sexy turning point was hit with full length sheer skirted dresses exposing cut out straps at the back to continue on with the underwear as outerwear trend we got so used to last year.
