Häagan-Dazs Tasting Master Class
By Reem in : Events, Fashion, Food // Oct 27 2011
Last week, Häagan-Dazs hosted an intimate tasting master class for some of its members, of which I am one, (very proud of that)! We all gathered into a beautifully restored Shoreditch penthouse to enjoy a very different kind of dinner service. All wearing our crisp clean Häagan-Dazs lab coats, we took to our seats to endure several courses of ice-cream and a little bit of ice-cream tasting knowledge. Yes, I was in ice-cream heaven!
The gorgeous penthouse with a fabulous view.

Enjoying tasting the difference between two types of caramel.
During the tasting there was a moment when we were instructed to put on our blindfolds to try and guess some flavours.
It left me anticipated but tasted good.
We had the opportunity to taste some flavours not available in the UK. Green Tea required some getting used to but I loved the colour and concept.
Macadamia Nut Brittle was my favourite of the evening. I’m so sad it’s not available here!
After being turned into taste masters, we made our way into the kitchen to choose some flavours and create our very own Häagan-Dazs ice cream. There was a beautifully prepared table filled with traditional and slightly eccentric options.
For my flavour, I wanted something furity and fresh. So I opted for a concoction of Coconut, Mango Lime and Nuts.
Yep, didn’t turn out so well. Don’t worry, I won’t be quitting my day job.
Can I just say, exclding the delicious treats, this USB given to each member was my highlight! (Major geek I know)!
