The Versace for H&M buzz is still circulating and yet we already hear news of the next H&M collaboration. It seems the Swedish retailer now known for its infamous designer collaborations can’t get enough of Italian fashion as Marni is announced as the next brand to collaborate set for release in March 2012.
Consuelo Castiglioni, founder of Marni had this to say, ”I wanted to create a true Marni wardrobe by revisiting all our favourite pieces in signature fabrics and prints, I love juxtaposing prints and colours, mixing modern tribal with Bauhaus graphic adding sporty utilitarian elements.”
Fans of the Italian brand can look forward to having that fabulous Marni signature in the form of full pleated skirts, dresses, cropped trousers and jacquard knits in both African-inspired prints and softer colour blocks at the usual affordable price points. There will also be an accessories range available.
The collection will be released in 260 H&M stores worldwide as well as online. Let the countdown begin!
