Last night Britain’s most talented designers and fashion industry leaders attended the British Fashion Awards at The Savoy Hotel and Theatre.
The British Fashion Council announced their award winners with McQueen’s creative director Sarah Burton proudly winning Designer Of The Year. She has been the most talked about designer of 2011. Victoria Beckham won Designer Brand Of The Year which we think is well deserved, she has truly made a name for herself in the industry and Five Five Fabulous are excited to see more to come from the young fashion brand. Mary Katrantzou picked up Emerging Talent for Womenswear which is more than expected given her incredible achievements so far.
Five Five Fabulous was sad to miss the event last night but hopes to give you full coverage from inside the event next season. On behalf of the whole team, we wish all the winners and nominees a huge congratulations for their achievements and success. We are so proud to see brands that we look up to and talk about so often, continue to achieve and inspire.
