When I was at the Harvey Nichols Press Day last month, I got the opportunity to meet Fyodor, one half of the talented designer duo Fyodor Golan. Fyodor and Golan set up their brand in 2010. Golan moved to London to attend the prestigious Istituto Marangoni and Fyodor attended the distinguished Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp before moving to London where the two met.
After winning Fashion Fringe this year, Fyodor Golan are set on a fashion path of success. This collection named ‘Flowers of Evil’ is inspired by the poems of Charles Baudelaire’s and boasts laser cutting, hand embroidery, pleating and floor sweeping sultry signatures for their Spring Summer 2012 collection.
