Last week I attended a dinner at the newly refurbished Cuckoo Club in Mayfair. Starting with a round of cocktails (virgin for me) friends and I mingled in the dimly lit and finely decorated bar before taking a seat in one of the beautiful booths in the dining room.
There was one booth which stood out to me the most, with a curtain for privacy and a table so fabulous that it’s become a possible venue for celebrating my 25th birthday next year!
We were treated to a menu ranging from Duck Salad, Beef Carpaccio, Celeriac, Wagu Beef, Beef Sliders and Seabass. All presented beautifully on simple marble slabs and in perfect portions. The staff are friendly and attentive at just the right times and the live music was that extra touch of fun to keep the vibe lively. My favourite dishes were the Duck Salad, Beef Wagyu, Beef Carpaccio and the sweet potato fries!
