I’ve recently come across Renegade Marmalade, a concept boutique store in the Northern Quater of Manchester, an area with historical fashion significance in the city. The founder of the brand, Victoria Jackson saw the area as the perfect fit for the launch of her boutique which focuses primarily on local talent as well as international brands such as Fairground and Hudson.
I love the ideology behind the boutique name. Renegade reflects the independent and the bold whilst Marmalade highlights the sweet and feminine. Victoria sees it as a perfect reflection of her business aesthetic and the clothing and brands stocked compliment the meaning behind the brand.
