It has finally been confirmed that Alice Dellal is the new face of the Boy Chanel handbag collection. How do we know? Well, Chanel’s press team sent out a picture of Mr Lagerfeld himself snapping the beauty to WWD.

Chanel reps told WWD: “Karl Lagerfeld had a crush on this unique, charismatic young lady, who is both a model and musician, during a photo shoot several months ago. This previously unforeseen alliance finally became self-evident. Alice Dellal represents the perfect incarnation of all that is unique about the Boy Chanel handbag collection, which strives [to be] far from conformist notions of femininity.”

The bags are on a whole other level of amazing, I’m in love with them. The name came about through Coco Chanel’s masucline-feminine vibe that was made famous and also after Boy Capel, the love of her life and her muse who helped fund her atelier.
