Chanel SS12 Ad Campaign

Karl Lagerfeld lensed the Chanel SS12 ad campaigns, shooting the beautiful Saskia De Brauw and Joan Smalls at the same location as his last resort collection, the Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, France.

Lagerfeld explained to WWD back in October that the collection is “all about athletics and the sea, it’s very modern sportif and in black-and-white.” Mr Lagerfeld did a great job at capturing just that.

Saskia and Joan were styled by ex Vogue editor Carine Roitfeld and this is the second season in a row Roitfeld has been chosen to style the campaign. We love this campaign; it oozes serenity and calmness which is exactly how I feel when I’m by the sea.
