When I first came across these beautiful images of the Mary Katrantzou Spring Summer 2012 collection, I was instantly drawn to what seems to be a huge artistic influence. Mary Katrantzou is known for her artistic and creative design aesthetic and I love the way she has portrayed this in her collection images. I instantly felt resemblance to Vermeer’s ‘Girl with the Pearl Earring’ in the first image and I don’t know about you but the rest of the campaign has so much colour and fine detail, the photographs could easily be paintings from the impressionism era.
