Diane Von Furstenberg’s
latest ad campaign for Spring Summer 2012 shows us her love for surrealism, taking inspiration from Spanish artist Salvador Dalí for the faceless yet striking images. Shot by Camilla Akrans, the models’ mirrored faces reflect a picturesque blue sky and the focus is instantly on the collection itself rather than the figure modelling it, which was ultimately the designer’s intention. The effect overall is a bold statement and I definitely look forward to seeing the rest of the campaign.
