James Harknett Sets The Tanning Trends for SS12

I think you may all be familiar with James Harknett as I’ve mentioned him once or twice on FFF before. James is a genius when it comes to tans and I’m so proud to announce that he is now the official Tanning and Body Expert for Garnier Ambre Solaire.

He has always helped me achieve a natural glow just in time for a big event and more recently, gave me a spring time top-up in time for my shoot with YOU Magazine, which really helped me pull of those SS12 brights and pastels.

You may have also noticed some sultry hues walking down the runways of Mark Fast and Amanda Wakeley during their SS12 shows, so we can thank James for setting the tanning trends for SS12.

James has just recently released a new ‘Brit’ themed menu at his W Hotel Spa location using the Sienna X tan product. The menu will be in use on stars behind the scenes at the BRIT Awards this year as James will be taking over the backstage area before the ceremony.

Last week, I popped in to the salon and tried out the ‘Brit Pop’. (Prices start from £40).

Brit Pop - Team your tan with your choice of clothing. Bathe yourself in a caramel hue designed to compliment this year’s ice-cream shades.
Think creamy caramac – and you’ll be popping those pastels with your ultra-flattering tan tone.

Brit Rock - Rock chics rock a hard-edged colour, this dark tan has a ashy edge, making it chocolatey and indulgent. This is the darkest of the lot – so bathe yourself in a rockin’ hot hue.

The Brit-Tan - A layered glow, using this season’s neon theme for inspiration.
We work by layering your tan and tailoring it to your natural skin hue to make your bright outfits pop.

James has so kindly decided to offer all Five Five Fabulous readers 10% off their tans when quoting ’Fabulous’ at the booking. So get glowing! Bookings can be made by phoning the Spa at this number: +44 (0) 207 758 1071.
