LFW: Aquascutum Autumn Winter 2012

The Aquascutum Autumn Winter 2012 show took place at the Savoy’s decadent Ballroom. It was the perfect setting for the 160 year old heritage brand. For Joanna Syke’s third Aquascutum collection, she relaxed the palette with a colour range off ‘oxblood’, ‘racing green’ and ‘winter white’ accented by ‘dolphin grey’, ‘champagne’ and ‘olive’. A sleek silhouette of fluid silks was juxtaposed against thick wools, tweeds and jerseys. Highlights from the show were leather combinations and shearling and I particularly loved the military influences and cocoon coats.
