Today Natalya and I tested out our new Nike+ FuelBands and documented our achievements over Twitter. We got our FuelBand’s about a week ago and have been getting used to having them as a firm fixture on our right hands, they’ve also made for quite an interesting addition to our arm parties.
The FuelBand is a great way of tracking your daily activity, it tells you how many calories you’ve burned, how many steps you’ve taken and then how many Fuel points you’ve earned. At the end of each day you just plug it into your computer and check out your stats. You can set some personal goals and track your progress online. It’s been an amazing addition to my newly adopted work out plan, so much so that when I forget to wear it in the morning and head out, I feel like my whole day’s activity has been wasted!
I set my goal to 2000 Fuel points every day, Natalya sets hers at 3000 and today we both went above and beyond!
The Nike FuelBand is a great way of pushing yourself that little bit further, being conscious that something is tracking your every move, you feel a bit more encouragement to do anything to ear a few more Fuel points, even if it’s an extra trip to the supermarket or taking the stairs instead of the lift.
