It’s finally that time of year in Dubai where the weather has reached it’s cool. I’ve been dealing with 45 degree temperatures and now that the humidity and the heat has finally passed, it’s time to layer up and rock some Fall pieces. I got a sneak peak of the Mochi Palestine collection just before it’s Dubai launch and was instantly drawn to this embroidered sweater. I love the fringe detailing at the back and of course Winter in Dubai is nothing compared to London so my version of layering means paring it with a skirt and some Balenciaga flats.

It’s about that time where this might be my final opportunity to get my legs out in London. The weather has transitioned into full on Fall and I know we’re all trained to automatically complain, but I actually love London at this time. I feel like the city is at its best. Plus who doesn’t love fashion in Autumn? It’s been at least over six weeks since I did any really training and I could do with a layer or two of knitwear to hide the evidence.
But before we get too ahead of ourselves, the weather is still forgiving enough for my latest style edit with Harvey Nichols and in light of that, I centered this Peter Pilotto piece of goodness (if ever there was a dress to convert me from jeans), around a leather jacket from last season’s Zadig & Voltaire collection.
If you’re anything like me, you usually opt to only wear dresses as and when they are required but I’m slowly trying to make them a strong contender in my sartorial decision making, and there’s nothing like a feminine silhouette and healthy dose of digital print to ease you into it.
Take me back to MIA! I have honestly fallen in love with South Beach and have been trying to find reasons “why we have to move to Miami” ever since coming back. I was staying at the Loews on my recent trip, and waking up every morning (thanks to jet lag) at 6am with enough time to catch the epic sunrise over the ocean was just what I needed to recoup some peace of mind. In my last post I featured everything I did in those five days from Shopping, to touring the everglades and tasting some of the best that Cuban cuisine offers, so here’s a little of what I wore.
On my last day, I met up with the super talented photographer Shane and we shot our way from the beach to Ocean Drive, sparing just enough time before the tropical rain graced us with it’s presence, but when a storm looks this pretty, who’s going to mind?
