Embrace the Elemants

Embrace the Elemants

Last week, one of the many cities I found myself in was Edinburgh. A place I’ve never been to prior to this year and in the space of a couple of months, I’ve had the pleasure of visiting twice. Even though both trips have been very short (no longer then a day and night), this time around I made an effort to get out of my hotel room and stroll the streets to take in the picturesque sights. What girl wouldn’t love a city with it’s very own castle?

The wind was in full force for these pictures but I decided to just roll with it and embrace the elements, it actually gave me a good excuse for the messy mane that I was rocking that day any way. I don’t normally take trips around the UK but Scotland is definitely on my list for another visit soon, if it’s this pretty in cloudy weather, I can’t wait to se it in the sunshine.

London Calling

London Calling

I can’t believe it’s been a whole year since I’ve been back in London. As much as I’m loving my life in Dubai, I do miss a a few things about London like simply walking down the streets and taking in all the atmosphere. For my first day back, Reem and I made our way to Hoxton Square for a much needed catch-up over carrot cake and tea at Bill’s. Afterwards, we had a little wander through Shoreditch and may or may not have stopped by somewhere else for dessert number two. I can’t explain how good it feels to be back!

Lace Back

Lace Back

Only a few more days and I’ll be chartering a flight ready to be back in London! I can’t believe it’s been almost a year since I’ve been back, time seriously flies when you’re working your butt off. I couldn’t be more excited to hit old London town again, Reem and I have a lot of catching up to do, meetings to attend and good food to eat before the two of us and our nearest and dearest head off on a well deserved vacation somewhere fabulous!

Oh by the way, I don’t know if you saw over on instagram, but I recently jumped out of a plane 13,000 feet in the air on a sky dive in Dubai. Yes, I think it’s safe to say, I’m officially a bad ass, and when you’re feeling good about yourself, there’s no better way to express it then with your high heels, black shades and a fabulous lace back Madiyah Al Sharqi top. Just another causal day at the office.
