There are first times for everything, but it’s not every day that you can add ‘Chanel show’ to that list, so I’m still reeling in the excitement from the show of Paris Fashion Week. I had such a great time (and wonderful view of all the fun) that I did a little round up of some of my favourite looks.
The Grand Palais was transformed into a huge Shopping Centre filled with Chanel-esque groceries, fresh produce and every day home ware. Cara Delevingne opened the show and hung around to do a little shopping whilst the rest of the models (including Kendal Jenner) put the ‘super’ in supermarket. I tell you, going to Sainsbury’s will never be the same again. Try as I may, I can’t find anywhere that stocks Chanel Spaghettini.
As this post goes live I’ll be on my way to Brussels which will mark the fifth city I’ve been to in just eight weeks. I think that’s a record on my part, but I’m not complaining, the first few months of this year have been so much fun and I’m excited to see what the rest of it has in store for us. I wanted to post the below images as a round up to all of our Fashion Month antics. I’ve had the best time this season, doing only a handful of shows but thoroughly enjoying each and every one of them, with much thanks reserved for our tech partner this season, HTC. They introduced us to their HTC One at the beginning of London Fashion Week and it’s made the world of difference to our organisation and schedules and it’s also the reason I think my Instagram has grown so rapidly over the past couple of weeks, the quality of images has improved dramatically thanks to the camera and all it’s super cool functions such as ZOE and the Ultra Pixels.
Needless to say we as bloggers would be nothing without the tools that help us get across all of our stories and pictures to you as efficiently as possible, so I think it’s only fitting that in the below, the only accessory I’m carrying is my phone.
I can’t believe how quick my trip to Paris came and went! If you’re following me on Instagram, you’ll know I was recently in the city of love for Fashion Week. My time was mainly spent inside the George V organising buying appointments for the stunning Madiyah Al Sharqi AW14 collection. Of course Reem and I still put aside some time to spend together whilst we were both there and although we didn’t get a chance to shoot together in Paris we did make some time to shoot the below on Avenue George V on my last day. Thankfully the weather wasn’t as bad as I was expecting so my trans-seasonal pieces left over from my wardrobe in London were perfect for Paris. I can’t believe I haven’t left the Middle East since last Summer, after Paris, Reem and I have had a little taste for traveling together (somewhere other then Dubai!) so we’re thinking of doing Greece in the Summer. Any tips on where to stay?
