Before the cherry blossoms started to bloom, I braved the chill in mid February and donned a dress to capture some of the last few charming moments of Winter. I’m still trying to come out of my comfort zone of jeans and a tee shirt when it comes to my day time looks so I feel like dressing down this Three Floor midi dress with a Peter Pilotto for Target sweater is a good compromise, at least until I get myself a nice Summer glow and can show off the dress in all it’s cut out glory.
Thank you Kit for snapping me!
There are first times for everything, but it’s not every day that you can add ‘Chanel show’ to that list, so I’m still reeling in the excitement from the show of Paris Fashion Week. I had such a great time (and wonderful view of all the fun) that I did a little round up of some of my favourite looks.
The Grand Palais was transformed into a huge Shopping Centre filled with Chanel-esque groceries, fresh produce and every day home ware. Cara Delevingne opened the show and hung around to do a little shopping whilst the rest of the models (including Kendal Jenner) put the ‘super’ in supermarket. I tell you, going to Sainsbury’s will never be the same again. Try as I may, I can’t find anywhere that stocks Chanel Spaghettini.
Just a quick update today, really wanted to share this gorgeous dress that I recently wore for a friend’s birthday dinner at 101 at The Palm. Reason being, I don’t normally ‘do’ dresses, I’ve always been a two piece kind of girl but when I saw the lace back on this Nina Ricci, I just had to try it on, and the rest is history. Apparently every girl should own an LBD, so I can finally tick that off my list. Have a fabulous weekend!
