An hour before the Paul & Joe show was scheduled to begin, I headed backstage for a sneak peek of the collection as well as hair and make up. Lindsey Wixon, besides the heavily textured and very true to season collection was an instant highlight. Almost ready and about to be ushered out onto the runway, she was posing for the small array of backstage photographers, in what seemed to be the most effortless, almost slow motion manner. The perfect girl to open the show. Sophie Albou-Mechaly gave us a varied collection of androgynous pieces styled for the girl who wants to be the boy. Gold tailored pants, dark blue blazers, silk camisoles, oversized furs and layers upon layers of textures made up what will probably be one of the most coveted and wearable collections this season has seen.

1pm: Reem sneaks out of filming backstage to attend the Christopher Kane show with me but only catches a couple of looks before running back to Erdem.
2pm: I head over to The Apartment to grab some lunch and relax whilst Reem heads to front of house for Erdem.

6.30pm: After the Das show we walk over to The Apartment to chill before heading over to the last show of the evening.
8.00pm: We take our seats at the BFC tent to watch the Osman show.
9.00pm: Time to head home.
I went for a casual yet chic look and styled a 3.1 Phillip Lim blouse with colour block trousers from Warehouse. I carried a Jimmy Choo Biker Bag and accessories with Miquella bracelets and Jimmy Choo sunglasses.
The Peter Pilotto Spring Summer 2013 collection was immersed in colour, print and boasted gorgeous skirts and tops with volume in all the right places.
The Antonio Berardi show was set in the NCP car park in soho. A vast difference to the designer’s usually opulent settings. It was perfect for this collection full of sporty references, bright embellishments and paneling in all the right places.
Being backstage with St Tropez and filming as their London Fashion Week Insider was a really great experience. Reem even got the chance to talk to Erdem about his collection which was inspired by 50′s scifi. The tent, set up in Manchester Gardens was the perfect venue for this theme and the hair by Charles Worthington and skin by St Tropez really helped the models exude this alien look. Reem managed to get a spot on the photographer’s pit, which is how she managed to get such great images!
Whilst Reem was at Erdem, I was enjoying my first ever Christopher Kane show. I snapped up a great standing position by the end of the runway and had a great view of this pastel infused collection.
The Burberry show is always a highlight of ours at London Fashion Week, this season was all about volume, volume and more volume. With a parade of metallic and array of swimwear it was a show not to be missed! An added bonus was having Anna Wintour in almost every single shot from the show!
After I attended the private Burberry screening at the Regent St store and Reem left the show, we headed back to the Handpicked Media suite at the One Aldwych hotel for some cake pops and a quick nail treatment. I got a ‘Five Five Fabulous’ manicure with grey and pink tips!
After chilling out for a quick minute, we headed over to the DAS show which was held at the Vauxhall space. Sister Reem and Hind Beljafla were showing their ready to wear collection and we really wanted to support them. The collection was stunning. Inspired by their famous abayas, the sisters infused metallics, drapery and arabic calligraphy to create something super chic. Model Alek Wek opened and closed the show.
Reem updating her Isntagram profile at The Apartment.
Abi showing off her amazing new project with Forever 21. She has curated a special collection with the brand which will be on sale at the Oxford St and Stratford store, available now!
Finally, the day ends with one of our fvourites, the Osman show held at the BFC tent. The lighting seriously sucks in that tent so it was hard to grab a good image without it looking so over exposed, but the collection was beautiful. Lots of bright colours, cocoon silhouettes and some slight brocade details.
We just love Juicy Couture here at Five Five Fabulous, but we’re sure you already knew that, what with how many times we feature them on the blog. We also want to let you in on a little secret, we adore Karlie Kloss. She has to be one of the hottest models of the moment, Juicy were right on track picking her for their AW12 ad campaign and when they sent over these behind the scenes images from the latest shoot, we had to share them with you all. Does she, or does she not have the best job ever?
