The lunch was a gathering of Dubai’s fabulous, to launch the arrival of America’s Next Top Model runner up, Raina Hein. Raina has been booked as the star for the A/W 2010 campaign for Symphony, (as previously blogged.)

Natalya and I both wore pieces from our up coming House Of Rena collection. Raina looked every inch the top model, dressed in a full length dress by Ports1961.

The whole room was filled with fantastically influential people and great vibes, the food was wonderful and the conversations never ran dry!

Young, avant-garde fashion company Symphony Style LLC have pulled out all the stops for their inaugural Autumn / Winter campaign for new luxury multi-brand boutique, Symphony (which is set to open in the Dubai Mall in July/August 2010) and booked model of-the-moment Raina Hein from America’s Next Top Model to feature exclusively in the campaign.

Symphony Style has been making waves in the fashion industry over the last few months, with their blog (www.symphonystyle.ae) being championed as a “genuine fashion blog with soul” and attracting a huge international and regional following. They plan to bring many creative and original firsts to the region and are excited to reveal the results of their collaboration with Raina at the official store launch in October 2010. Raina, who recently came second place on ‘America’s Next Top Model’ is equally excited tweeting: “Just booked my first international campaign in DUBAI! And I am going to be featured in Harpers Bazaar Arabia! Things r lookin good!”

Raina will be in Dubai shooting the Symphony Autumn / Winter 2010 campaign at the end of May. The details of the campaign and theme are being kept secret until early October, however, Symphony Style are delighted to be collaborating on this exciting project with photographer Susanne Spiel and local creative agency Capital D studio.

Five Five Fabulous can not wait for the launch and of course the campaign! We wish Raina and Symphony Style the best of luck in both of their fashion careers.

The re-launch of 5’5 Girl in a 5’10 World is just in time for the return of ANTM

Tyra Banks has returned with Cycle 13, and this one is special as it is for young ambitious women who are 5’7 and under.

“It is so important to me to redefine beauty and make sure that everyone gets a fair chance to pursue their dream. I am beyond excited for Cycle 13; for the first time ever, young women 5’7 and under have a shot at becoming America’s Next Top Model! I encourage each girl to come out ready to rock the runway and show off their fiercest pose. To be honest I couldn’t agree with the  outspoken reality show host more! The whole reason I started 5’5 Girl in a 5’10 World  was to try and show how it is possible to break industry standards.

It just goes to show that with your drive, confidence and obvious “inner fierceness”  (Vocabulary  courtesy of Ms Banks) you already have what it takes to make it in this industry.
